I am accepting new clients for online therapy, in addition to face to face sessions in my office. I offer video sessions via Zoom or phone for clients who are distancing or quarantined.
You can have an online therapy session anywhere you can get internet access. All you need is a tablet, computer, or any mobile device, and it offers the simplest way to make time for your mental health. In fact, my clients talk to me from home or in the office. They may even talk to me while taking a walk. Or, sitting in their car on their lunch break.
Online therapy can be as effective as in person therapy, and that includes EMDR therapy sessions. While it may feel awkward initially, many clients report that after a few sessions, they forget they are talking to a screen.
